I own a Nikon D3100.It used to be fine at recording and would record video for a number of minutes. I have an SDHC Class 10 card in it and it is no where near full. My son started walking today and I NEED to tape it so my husband can see but the camera will only record for about 6 seconds and then says "video recording interrupted".

F-Stops and Aperture. As discussed earlier, when referring to the numeric value of your lens aperture, you will find it described as an f-stop. The f-stop is one of those old photography terms that, technically speaking, relates to the focal length of the lens (e.g., 200mm) divided by the effective aperture diameter. If the menu option doesn't give you a "no limit" option, I don't think there's anything you can do. For $30 you can get a decent webcam, and $50 gets you a pretty good one. Either that or you'll have to hit a button on your D3200 to reset the shutdown timer.
