See test reviews HERE and HERE. Just note that with the Canon APS-C Sensor 1.6X crop factor the EF 24-105mm effective focal length will be 38.4 - 168mm. Hence probably not a good choice if you want the wider 24mm FOV; e.g., the EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 has the effective focal length of 24-136mm.
